Use the illustrated parts catalog and applicable maintenance documents to identify the assembly, item number, and effectivity. Confirm whether the need is for a complete assembly, subcomponent, consumable, or attaching hardware before sending an inquiry.
Search without losing precision
Combine the exact part number with model terms only when useful. If results are sparse, check approved supersessions and formatting variants. Do not widen the search to unverified substitutes simply to increase the number of offers.
Give suppliers enough context
Share the requested quantity, condition, documentation, serial effectivity, and urgency. Photos and removal information can help identify a component, but they should supplement—not replace—the controlled data used to establish eligibility.
